Switching gears...
Dear friends and family—
I had to make the switch from Mailchimp to Substack for various reasons. Not only does Substack offer more fun features, its platform will allow me to spark a subscription-based project in the near future. Something I’ve been considering via Patreon but this might be the better space to do it in. Meanwhile, my “newsletter” will always remain free. And, speaking of free. Please feel free to unsubscribe if you feel inundated. I get it.
Pop Culture Squad wrote a nice review for THE FOX: FAMILY VALUES one-shot (published by Archie Comics) that I wrote & drew a 12-page story for. Thanks Bob Harrison!
"Haspiel takes some metaphysical swings in the storytelling and delivers a dynamic story filled with heart that leaves us wanting more from this incarnation of the character."

DC Comics is publishing a 48-page one-shot featuring SUPERMAN’S PAL JIMMY OLSEN’S BOSS PERRY WHITE, reprinting a great Perry White and Wildcat story Neil Kleid wrote and I drew.

The second issue of the 12-issue IMAGE! 30th Anniversary anthology drops soon, featuring the second installment of my 12-page Billy Dogma comic, “I will Break You But I Won’t Kill You Because I Need You.”
Soon, I’ll be traveling to The Manhattan Film Institute in Greenport, NY for 2 weeks with Nightwork studio mate, Whitney Matheson, to write and direct a few short films. Wish us luck!
And, if all goes well, by the very end of May I turn 55 years old.
