I love the sketch at top and especially the 4 panels "bend the rules" scene! You have such amazing texture in the backgrounds and the way the line art contrasts on top is beautiful.
It's true that most people aren't necessarily looking for true connection as much as they are trying to figure out how you fit in their agenda. Many times we underestimate that random person next to us, but you seem to take a real interest in people that is earnest and I admire that. It's easy to know who your friends are when you have nothing to offer- other than your friendship, empathy, understanding and companionship. But the best connections are those without strings or pots of gold over the proverbial rainbow!
