CHEST FACE is officially funded!
THANK YOU to all you early responders who believe in me and my comix. Y'all crushed the initial goal in the first week of my campaign. Now comes the hard work:
DOUBLING that goal.
Can we do that? Yes we can. Spreading the word is key. Big Ups to anyone who already has and probably will. I'm currently mulling over a stretch goal. So stay tuned.
Fun fact: I drew pages 7-13 of CHEST FACE while on retreat at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, NY. Writers, artists, composers, dancers, filmmakers and creators of many disciplines steep in 400-acres of well-groomed land that features a mansion, a rose garden, and other fine housing with studios. Here's a sneak-peek of the first CHEST FACE panel I drew at Yaddo:

And here’s another sweet slate of CHEST FACE snapshots by a slew of select artists!
If I croak before the campaign ends, please hand the CHEST FACE chores over to the one and only, Bob Fingerman!
I drew a variant cover for EXIT CITY #1. Created by Mark London, Karl Mostert, Shane Connery Volk, David Baron and Dave Sharpe, published by Mad Cave Studios. You can learn more about the comic book series and how to get my exclusive cover HERE.
Take a look at Rocketship Entertainment’s LIGHTS OUT campaign. A horror anthology inspired by the legendary 1930s radio show that I contributed a new spooky story to!
I’ll be a guest at JewCE, The Jewish Comics Experience, on Sunday, November 10th, 2024. And I’ll be on a panel, American (Jewish) Splendor: Celebrating Harvey Pekar and Joyce Brabner, with Peter Kuper, Josh Neufeld, Jeff Newelt, Arie Kaplan and Danny Fingeroth. JewCE is located at the Center for Jewish History, 15 W 16th St. NYC 10011. Hope to see you there.
Okay Party People! Let's please elevate CHEST FACE from a 5-minute set to his one hour comedy special.
And don’t forget to vote!

Dean, I have to ask it! Where and when was chest face born? Is it your own chest, talking in your Brooklyn mirror, in the wee hours? Will there be a Mrs. chest face?
I laugh , and smile when I see chest face, and I have no idea why. You are a gift that keeps on growing, exploring, creating, and bringing pride to your craft.
Who is your favorite anime-short film, ? I love the one called UP.; IT CAN BEaddictive AS ALL HECK, BUT WORTH THE TIME SPENT. Jennifer/NYC/that woman:>)
