I think only New Yorkers must understand the joy of having that change in your pocket when paying for something calls for it. At least 5 times a week, I'm reaching into my pocket for change I thought I put in there and realized that I forgot to when I changed pants.
I really want to check out Dave Hill's comics cause he is absolutely hilarious and an amazing musician/songwriter... but I'm kind of off comics right now, had to go cold turkey because the situation (aka piles and piles of comics) had gotten out of hand... Any time I have dreams of going into a comic book store (whch I'm also not allowed to do), I feel like I broke my promise not to buy anymore.
Do yourself (and me) a huge favor. Break your rule. Dig into the pockets of your last five pairs of pants. Score a bunch of coins. Buy a comic book that intrigues you. Support a local artist. We appreciate you.
There's a better chance that I'll have to wait until it's available on Kindle or if I see Dave live and he happens to have his comic ... but I really have to be careful. I'm like someone in AA who has a sip of alcohol and falls off the wagon even worse than before.
Cash is Queen!

At least you remembered to wear pants!
I have those dreams, too.

Sorry it's gotten that bad. Sorry if my my regular comix content triggers you.
I live off my comix and rare freelance gigs -- my only income. My passion.
Oh, I get it... Heck, I'll probably buy Onur's book on Kindle, too... just have to wait until my job/money situation is in a better place.
I feel you! Sending (((POSITIVE ENERGY))) your way.
